harsh-This is a web application technology or even mentioned as the websites like weblogs and wikis which with the use of Internet helps to provide users with services. This relies on the user-as-publisher model of interaction and even allows to perform several user-developed contents which are implemented by the larger group of individuals. Web 2.0 as a technology has many such advantages. Some being enriching the internet and helps improve the user experience. User involvement is its highest priority. But due to user involvement the user or the client gets exposed to vulnerabilities as well as threats hence serious security concerns and attacking hackers come into picture.

The changes that Web 2.0 has brought is because of its characteristics of being decentralized and distributed content as well as web information which are segregated to other sites with respect to the light weighted syndication protocols example RSS and Atom (Whitmore, A., Agarwal, A., & Da Xu, L. 2015).

It even uses the light weighted user interface code like asynchronous JavaScript and the XML (AJAX) to give a better user experience.

To secure the software development concept to support the protecting application one can do it by the following:

1) Securing through Control.

2) Securing through Tracking

3) Security via testing

4) Monitoring and Filtering

5) Restricted updates with authentication and access control
