Be thoughtful in your response and be sure to explain how each of these forms of IP law has either accelerated or slowed the pace of innovation. Recall that purusant to the video lectures, the general purpose of IP laws can understood as the incentivization of data creation. Whether this actually occurs in practice is a matter of some debate.
