JPS Foundation of sociology Karl Marx Questions

Process: 

1. Read the two Dillion chapters uploaded for each theorist linked here: Chapter on Emile Durkheim and Chapter on Karl Marx. They are long but well written and have good examples.

2. Now, carefully go through the news article about the Chinese worker and list/apply the sociological theories and concepts of both Emile Durkeim and Karl Marx. 

3. Finally, wear each theorist’s hat and discuss the issue — why, how, anything. Think about how Marx would approach and explain this issue? How Durkheim would approach and explain this issue.
