Cultural Premises in Persuasion

Search and view commercial advertisements on the Internet. The advertisement may be print or a video. Choose an advertisement that depicts a cultural myth or pattern to use for this Discussion.

Provide a 4-paragraph response that includes a link to your selected commercial advertisement and explains the cultural myth or pattern depicted in the advertisement. Then, explain how the advertisement leverages the cultural myth or pattern to persuade. Finally, explain whether you believe the persuasive use of the cultural myth or pattern in the advertisement is ethical.
