Cuyamaca Wk 2 Perceptions of The Poor & The Theories of Poverty Discussion Questions

I’m working on a sociology multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

(1) Discuss perceptions of the poor and the theories of poverty. In so doing, identify the myths surrounding the U.S. poor and discuss evidence that suggests they are myths.

(2) Discuss how social status intersects with economic inequality?  Bring in examples, possibly including examples from television or other entertainment sources.  Discuss how different classes/status represent economic inequality.
