experience vs attributes in leadership

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE VS. LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES

Critical Thinking Skills: Comparing and contrasting is the process of looking at similarities and differences in order to reveal important characteristics of two objects, systems, organizations, events, processes or concepts. In comparing and contrasting experience and attributes, you are to demonstrate the following critical thinking skills. The primary concern is “what” to compare/contrast. We will cover many factors related to leader experience and leader attributes in the class. The task is to select the “most salient factors” to compare/contrast.:

  • Identify the most salient factors related to experience and attributes for entry-level frontline managers
  • Please limit the number of attributes and experiences to 3. So, there will be 3 comparisons. Provide a detailed comparison for each with definitions, concepts, and examples.
  • Compare and contrast the level of importance of each attribution and experience.
  • Draw a conclusion based on this investigation.
