Integrating client assessment and interview data is not the only skill that requires practice. The manner in which these integrated results are disseminated to clients is very important to your professional practice. The content you provide in a psychological report must be clear, concise, and free of jargon in order to be accessible to your client audience. While these are not the only standardized guidelines, a psychological report that is not written using proper guidelines could cause a variety of challenges for your client.
For your Final Project, using the psychological report template provided, submit a psychological report based on William Thompson, a member of the AYR Threaded Family Case Study. Your report should include the following items:
- A summary of William’s background and family history
- A description of behavioral observations for William
- An explanation of William’s cognitive assessment results
- An explanation of William’s personality assessment results
- A synthesis of William’s cognitive and personality assessment results
- A treatment recommendation and referral for William
