Human Digestive System
Each of you will upload a video of a topic discussed throughout the term and a 1-2 page summary of the video with you assessment.
The topic you choose for the video is up to you but it should reflect the issues touched on in class. The video should come from a reliable source and be published within the last five years and bo no longer than 30 minutes maximum. The video should give enough details for you to write a 1-2 page summary. In the summary you should give a brief explanation of issue and also give your assessment of the work an how it contributes to the topic.
In writing the summary you should consider the following:
1. Concisely summarize the theme of the video and the most important points the narrator was trying to convey.
2. Was the information presented in such a way that you, the reader is able to understand the thrust of the author’s argument?
3. Is the information presented credible and reliable? How are you evaluating this?
4. How does the information presented contribute to the topic?
5. Who is presenting the information and is it biased/unbiased? Is the author an expert in the field, someone with a high level of knowledge or someone with minimal qualifications on the topic but with an interest in pursuing a predetermined outcome?
You will be evaluated on:
1. Content: clear and concise presentation of the content of the video
2. Reference: proper APA format and in-text citation
3. Grammar and spelling: proper use of grammar, spelling and punctuation
4. Length: 1-2 pages, double-spaced, 12 point New Roman font, one inch margin.
