Drug violence is increasing, particularly on our southern border area. Gangs and smugglers freely cross over into America and are more than willing to attack law enforcement as well as citizens. For years America has spent money on foreign initiatives and programs to halt the flow of drugs with little to no success. Discuss how you view this situation. Is it social, economical, cultural, religious or political. As a process, how do you consider addressing and resolving the situation? Is the criminal justice system the correct and most efficient means to deal with this situation? Are there more effective means, if so, explain your position.
