New York University Health Behavior Change Research Paper

Research has provided a better understanding of the contributing factors, including health behaviors, for the leading chronic diseases (i.e., heart disease, diabetes, cancer). Yet, rates of these conditions have not decreased. Based on what you have learned in this course, summarize why health behavior change is so difficult. Describe a health behavior that you struggle to change. What are the factors that contribute to your health behavior? What are the barriers to changing your behavior? How could this personal struggle help you as a public health professional?
