Participating in an Activist Event on Feminist Activism Reflection

INSTRUCTIONS

Your paper must be 2-3 pages (12 pt. font, double spaced) in length and discuss material we have covered in one or more of the units in Section III (units 9-12). These papers will not require you to do any outside research beyond perhaps visiting an assigned additional website, but will require you to be engaged with the texts, media, and the discussion boards. This paper will require you to use your experiences, reflections on expressions of the experiences of others, and engagement with various forms of media to formulate your own informed opinion about the views of the authors we read and topics we cover in this section of the course. Papers must be submitted no later than 11:59pm on April 28th.

Participate in an activist event and write a 2-3 page paper reporting on the experience.

Provide background information on the organization sponsoring the event, the importance of the cause, and why it is meaningful to you. Relate your experience to topics readings and media we have done for class.
