peer review 211

The peer-review process prior to publication in an academic journal is the method that requires an article submitted for publication to be reviewed and critiqued by “peers” and other qualified scholars in the field. These scholars are not only knowledgeable in their field but also understand the requirements of academic writing. If the article being reviewed falls short on either content or style it will be rejected or returned for revision. Reviewing others’ work is an excellent way to see a paper from a different perspective, and will allow you to better see your own work from the perspective of a reviewer.

Use the Peer Review Checklist to evaluate the paper: “Theory of Human Motivation” .
