Read the article at the below link. It is about student activism.

After you read the article consider and discuss the following points/questions:

1. Although the article takes a position on student activism, the underlying debate has two sides. What are the two sides?

2. Now that you have identified the two sides of the underlying debate, which philosophers from among those covered thus far in the semester (you may include those from our readings as well) would you place on the two sides. In other words, which philosophers represent Side “A” and which philosophers represent Side “B”?

3. Pick one or two philosophers from Side “A” and explain how that person (or persons) would frame the arguments in favor of Side “A”. Then, do the same thing with one or two philosophers from Side “B”.
