1. Identify and explain using supported details to strengthen your position concerning a Big Ticket item that was not discussed in the lecture and neither in Chapter 1, that could affect the outcome of the November Presidential election.

2. The authors of We The People book clearly identify the underlining misconception between the powers of the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. According to the book identify why you feel there is a misconception that the 14th Amendment was in favor for African Americans, as well as, why did it take the Federal Government nearly 100 years after the end of the Civil War to address racism in the US by way of the Civil Rights Act? Also, explain is there any saliency between the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Black Lives Matter movement, and if so is this a Big Ticket item?
