This proposed study will investigate the effects of far-right groups on the lives of Latina/o living in Gwinnett County in Georgia. There is a problem in most Western democracies regarding immigration, which has led to the rise of far-right groups in these countries. Despite efforts by these countries’ governments to curb anti-immigrants’ sentiment in their various societies, the evidence points to a rise in nativist activities. In the United States, there are deep concerns about immigrants from Mexico and other Central and South American countries illegally entering the country (Hogan & Haltinner, 2015). There has also been a rise of racial nativists who not only oppose immigration but racially discriminate against immigrants with recorded cases of both physical and/or verbal attacks on immigrants (Young, 2017).
