Discuss various social issues such as racism, inequality, poverty, inadequate health care, urban issues and drug/alcohol abuse within society. The theme throughout this course will be seeing the world through many different spectrums/perspectives. Think about how you feel in regards to the above topics–how it makes you feel, your emotional attachment to the issue and what role you think this plays within society– what does these social problems look like through “your eyes”.
