After reviewing the video Babyland (you may find the documentary in the library if you missed

it in class please see below), as well as the materials provided in class (and in your

announcements), what is infant mortality and what do you think are the causes of infant mortality

in our community? How do you feel we should go about eradicating this issue? Do you think

that race, class, and/or gender oppression or institutional inequalities play a role? Why or why

not? How might the overturning of Roe vs. Wade influence this issue? How should we as a

society solve these complex problems to ensure that every little baby born in our community has

a safe and healthy start in life?
