SOCL 3021 Louisiana State University Employee Management Reflection and Routinized Labor Paper

reflect on the following idea: With a shift away from mechanized, routinized labor, organizations now employ more of the ‘whole’ person.  This means that personality and emotions come into play, thus organizations seek to control these as well.  Can you find an example of an organization that tries to do this?  Perhaps an organization that has this as part of their training?  How does your organization try to control the workers by managing or eliciting specific emotional responses?  (Hint:  Hello, welcome to Wal-Mart!).
