subject about marriage and family

I’m studying for my Sociology class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

Please watch the short video on the History of Marriage.  As you can see, marriage is a changing institution that varies greatly by time, place, circumstance, people, etc. I’d like you to consider current marriage partners and your role expectations. In other words, if you get married, how might your expectations of household responsibilities, finances, child rearing, love and sex, merge with your partner? What do you think are some of the sociological issues sociologists analyze when studying the family and marriage as social institutions?
