THE GOLDEN STATE LAWS
I’m sure you’re well aware that January 1st, 2018 marked the beginning of a new era (Links to an external site.), one that many people were highly anticipating (pun intended…sorry, dad joke). But did you also know that nearly 900 new laws went into effect in California on January 1, 2018? This is not including laws made at the local/city level; that’s just state laws!

And how many bills were signed into state law that went into effect in CA on Jan 1, 2020: 870!!
