Topic 5:  Hume or Descartes on The Self?

About 500 words. Research David Hume’s “bundle theory of the self” and how that is intended to challenge Descartes’ theory of the self as a “res cogitans”, a thinking substance. Then, concisely explain Hume’s challenge and whether you find Descartes or Hume to ultimately have the better theory of the nature of the self.
