video assignment 9
Video Assignment
In this assignment, you will create a short video (50-60 seconds) that describes something interesting you learned in this course. Topic possibilities include (but are not limited to): a description of some point raised in a reading or video that somehow changed your perspective, or a controversy that arose in your discussions with classmates, or something that happened in your everyday life where you noticed a connection to the course topics or a creative work (art/poem/etc.) you made that demonstrates engagement, or a form of activism you engaged in relating to the course topics.
We encourage (but do not require) that you post it publicly (e.g., via YouTube), and submit a link to the public video. You may also submit a video that is not public by posting it privately to YouTube or another platform and sharing the link with the teaching staff.
Make sure your work meets the copyright and fair use guidelines as described here: Copyright and Fair Use in Student Videos. If your video includes citations to readings or other material, please cite them at the end of your video. (Citations do not count as part of the 50-60 seconds.)
By Friday at 11:59pm, please paste your link into the text box on this assignment.
