9. Description of the relevant youth development practice of the agency (individuals and families, group, community, policy, partnership etc.) 

10. How has the COVID 19 pandemic impacted the work of the organisation 

11. What roles do the youth development workers usually perform; How any changes in roles due to the COVID 19 pandemic? If so, please state 

12. Skills required doing the work 

13. Challenges experienced by the workers especially due to the COVID 19 situation 

14. Recommendations to address the challenges

Outline for Critical Analysis Essay

1. Executive summary: (to help your readers understand the nature of the analysis). This is where you preview the main points of an in-depth report or essay. It provides an overview of the report or essay’s essential information. It includes:

   a. Statement of topic and purpose 

  b. Introduce what you are analysing 

  c. Listing the main points, the summary will cover in the same order they appear in the main report or your essay. 

2. Background Information 

  a. Information about the organization (e.g. date founded, type of organization – NGO, FBO, CBO, Government, Private; countries in which the organization operates, board structure, size of the organization, etc.) 

  b. Organization structure c. Organization’s network: (local, regional, international, global) 

3. Summary or Analytical analysis: – this is where you provide the descriptive summary and analysis of the components/parts of the organization that were evaluated. Keep in mind however that a critical analysis is different from a summary. It may include a summary but should go beyond this. You are providing an informed critique of the organization and its work.
