write the paper analysis

SUBJECT: The denial of services to same-sex couples based on religious views of service provider, IE marriage planner, conference center, honeymoon suites.

For this assignment, you will assess the pros and cons of the subject, meaning establishing and evaluating the positive and negative connotations of the subject. The writing will be structured so that you introduce the subject and explore both the positive and negative. The writing should utilize more of an evaluative approach as you analyze the “for” and “against” perspectives [opposing viewpoints] of your thesis. You will explore and explain what the reasoning is for that perspective.

You will be expected to reference at least one court case that is related to the subject and it would be ideal if you had at least one court decision or current/active case related to either perspective. Acknowledging that this may not be possible, the minimum expectation is that you reference one case to support one side or the other and you offer a rebuttal to the decision supporting the opposing perspective.

This is not your term paper. You may reuse information supporting the perspective that you constructed within this assignment, but your term paper should be more persuasive for one side or the other. This assignment is intended to be informative. Stated differently, this assignment encourages you to interpret information related to the subject, while the term project encourages you to justify the reasoning behind your perspective of the subject.

This writing should be limited to a maximum of two pages.

Remember, both assignments should be written from a third person perspective, maintaining objectivity.
