Also, it can include major family events (e.g. births, deaths, marriages, divorces, or major illnesses – both physical and/or mental.
The main goal of this assignment is for you to understand key relationships, visual patterns, and dynamics within the family in your genogram. This tool is a helpful strategy to use with clients in the future.
After completion of your genogram, I want you to write a brief description of the relationships as well.
