Introduction to Nursing Research and Ethical Conduct of Research

Assignment:

Write an essay of 1500-1750 words discussing the following points. The title and references pages do not count towards the minimum word requirement. Be sure to include clear headings in your paper and follow APA writing style standards. Include at least three (3) scholarly citations.

• Describe the different research methodologies and their importance in generating an evidence-based practice for nursing.
• Describe two current trends or events in the nursing profession with regards to the evolution of nursing research.
• Provide a detailed discussion summarizing the use of ethics that govern the research process.
• Select a clinical question in an area of interest in your current clinical area. This question should be able to be addressed through nursing practice and positively impact patient outcomes. This will serve as the basis for your upcoming assignments in this course.
