The first thing to consider is the source of the material. Anytime someone looks up any academic info they should ensure that their source is reputable. They should also try to ensure that they do not source any biased information and stick to the facts. A topic such as that is going to have varied schools of thought. As for a better plan of action, Google is our best option for searching information though I would look for articles on the Google Scholar page as opposed to regular
